This has been a great modem and has improved my speed and connectivity. It was easy to set up. Just follow the step by step instructions.It was a little pricey from others that I looked at, but it also improved my internet speed from 30 mbps to around 500 mbps. No more buffering on my television sets in the house. It handles up to 80 devices.

Not Full Featured
Very easy to setup. The app and device make that simple. No issues at all. Was able to use one of my old channels and passwords so all devices (except printers) automatically reconnected.Have to turn off iOS security settings to have the router identify iPhone names. Should be okay since it is a home network.The biggest disappointment is the Parental Controls. Even with the $68/yr subscription they are really lacking. Logs are restricted to the last 250 sites and the log entries do not include the device accessing the site. Only way to deal with that is to give everyone their own profile and add their devices to that profile. Which leads back to turning off the iOS security settings.Signal strength is good. Some of our Macs do not automatically reconnect to the WiFi which has never been an issue before.Adding printers is a pain as you have to install the Netgear USB driver on every computer (even though they print wirelessly).Quality of the router appears top notch. But what would you expect for $700!

Best of the Best
This router has never failed nor has I had to restart it for any reason. Yes indeed it is expensive but on the very same note, is very well worth it’s price tag. I am so very excited that I dived in and made the purchase. Now, router wise I can say that I am set for the future. I’m using the 10G port to run my Linksys router as a sub router or secondary router and it works flawless. I have mine mounted on the wall using the Netgear wall mount which looks amazing. I have this unit paired with the Nighthawk CM2000 cable modem, a perfect match. The cool thing I like about this router is being able to use the app to control it from wherever I’m at, which means no you don’t have to be tied down to your wifi in order to control this router. Love how cool it runs which makes me feel it will be around for some time. So far I only have like 26 devices connected through it excluding my Linksys router. This router is a must have if you are in the market for a new router. If not, it’s a got to have. My streaming doesn’t interfere with my large downloads and web surfing. One of the stand out features of this router to me is the ability to separate band by device. 2.4G, 5G etc. I simply can’t say enough good things about this product. One thing I will say, if you are by chance having trouble with it, look elsewhere because this product is aimed to please. Something else that I like about this router is that it comes complete with a year of security which makes this an even more fabulous buy. The only con I came across this far is not having this unit sooner. It feels great to know that my service provider is no longer robbing me of the speed that I am paying for. I’m getting every drop of it now. Though I don’t have a 3,500 square foot home, it’s still good to know that this router will cover such distance. I have also noticed a difference when playing Gran Turismo, it seems much faster in my favor, because even when.I pull over to allow other players to pass me, I always regain the lead again. Even streaming seems even more clear and so much like natural TV. I’m heading into a month of using this router and it’s still working just like the very first day of use. Money very well spent and not wasted. Again I will say, you get what you pay for.

Great Router
My older model seemed to be getting a little sluggish. I was waffling between the Wi-Fi 6 or the 7. The 7 was the right choice. All my older equipment connected fine. My wife immediately noticed much better resolution on her bedroom TV. Everything is more crisp. Better reception throughout the house. And noticeably better speeds. Highly recommend.

Unreliable Router
This router is unreliable. It always takes several minutes (between 5-20 minutes) for your devices to reconnect after rebooting. The 5GHz band kept disappearing from time to time. If you need to do any changes in the administrator webpage it takes several minutes for the router to get working normal. After several attempts from technical support troubleshooting the device, I had to return my router after 2 months of usage. When I received the replacement unit I noticed that the box was dented and scratched and it looked like it was shrink-wrapped by a kindergarden student. I emailed customer care team support and this was their reply: “You received a reconditioned unit that underwent strict device compliance in which the components were examined and non-working parts were replaced. It was tested for functionality and restored to a new condition and/or appearance. For manufacturers’ warranty, we don’t send brand new replacements.” Customers beware, if you return your router (under warranty) for exchange you will receive a refurbished unit instead of a new one. I believe this action from NETGEAR is so unfair after you spend $700 for this equipment. The least that the company can do is to send you a brand new router. After this ordeal, I decided to contact Amazon customer service and explained what happened and showed them proof of it. Amazon refunded the money for this device. Good thing that I had purchased Asurion protection insurance.

Sólo recomiendo que en los celulares se deshabilite la opción de MAC address aleatoria, tal como lo indica Netgear.Estética:Es un poco grande, pero es muy bonito, combina con cualquier decoración, eso en comparación con las arañas gamer que tienen las antenas externas.Precio:Si vale la pena si quieres lo mejor del momento, por lo menos deberÃa ser útil la tecnologÃa hasta dentro de 5 años, sin embargo, creo que hay opciones nuevas con rendimiento aceptable a menos por menos de la mitad de precio.Conclusión: Actualizando firmware y configurando todo debidamente es un excelente router.
